I want the grass between them but don't think digging around each one is going to be the best way. I tried this with two of them and used some sand but it took forever. They need to be buried a bit so that they are all flat and level. I don't need perfection but I want them to look good.
The pieces are about 2-21/2 inches thick and up to 2ft by 3ft.

Who should fix my flagstone patio?

I had a flagstone patio installed by a licensed contractor almost 2 years ago. The initial circumfrance of the job was 2 feet short of the proposed job(mistake made by the workers). There is now a crack that runs around the entire patio where the mistake was corrected. Do I just live with it or should I call the contractor?

We installed a brick walkway leading up to our front porch (which is plain concrete). What type of stair tread should we use?

The house is tan siding with red, black and tan brick, and the paver walkway is a tumbled small rectangle in a running bond pattern.

We have one step, so we want it to look great! Any thoughts?
