they place we bought our flagstone from recommends against using Stone Glamour to seal the stone, thoughts? what should we use to achieve a glossy, wet look over the stone?

Does flagstone have to be sealed?
I just put in a flagstone patio. I know there are products to seal the stone. Is this necessarry?What are the pros and cons?
