Tarmac driveways - A method of paving in which layers of uniformly graded, coarse aggregate are spread and compacted to a desired grade. Next, the voids are completely filled by a finer aggregate, sometimes assisted by water (water-bound), and sometimes assisted by liquid asphalt (asphalt-bound). The top layers are usually bound and sealed by some specified asphaltic treatment.

Gravel Driveways - Gravel is one type of aggregate often used on Driveways. Not only does it look good it could also help significantly with drainage.

Permeable Driveways - Permeable surfaces include grass guards, decorative gravels and Marshalls Priora permeable block paving. Permeable paving surfaces have been demonstrated as effective in managing runoff water from paved surfaces.

Pressed pavinge Driveways - concrete that is patterned and/or textured or embossed to resemble brick, slate, flagstone, wood and various other patterns and textures. Cobbles and sett driveways - Cobblestones are typically either set in sand or similar material, or are bound together with mortar. Paving with cobblestones allows a road to be heavily used all year long. It prevents the buildup of ruts often found in dirt roads. It has the additional beneficial advantage of not getting muddy in wet weather or dusty in dry weather. The true natural beauty of sandstone setts or granite stone cobbles will enhance any driveway. Darren was first employed by his Uncle - William Moss Landscapes as a labourer when he left school back in 1983.He learned allot of basic landscaping skills in the first 12 months, then he went into business with his Father Tommy Moss under the name Moss Landscapes and continued to develop various landscaping skills for several years. At that time work was hard to find in the winter time , so Darren used to travel to London as a self employed scaffold er labourer then return back to Liverpool to carry out landscaping work during the summer months.He eventually decided to stay working in London for around six years but returned back to Liverpool in 1992. During 1994 Darren became a Christian and his whole attitude towards running a business changed. He began to trade under the name of Abel Landscapes and has continued to develop his various skills. Since 2001 Darren has focused on training his installers to perform at the highest standard.
