
The grout has become brown in many areas --in just a matter of weeks. Should I have put a sealer on the grout upon completion of the project?

Yes most definately. I like the one called “One Step” Grout Sealer and it claims to last 15 years. It runs @ $10 at Lowes.

Seal everything, flagstone too. I assume its a true stone so it should be sealed also. ( I ve seen ceramic called flagstone , which doesn t need to be sealed) .
Grout need to set for 72 hrs if your using a penetrating sealer and 30 days for a silicone sealer. ( Go with the penetrating sealer) GL
